If you are wondering if Greenway is right for you, ask yourself these questions:
- Do you believe in the potential of every student?

- Are you interested in using research-based approaches in your instruction?
- Do you believe in developing positive character in students who play an active role in their community?
Teachers at Greenway Public School District are more than just great educators. We have a passion for serving children and impacting our community at large. The heart of that mission begins with our employees.
We invite you to explore the many job opportunities and benefits of working with Greenway Public Schools.
Substitute Positions
Positions for Substitute Teacher, Substitute Paraprofessional, Substitute Custodians and Substitute Food Service for the 2020-2021 school year are still available. (view the Quick Links block for more info)
Expand your subbing opportunities! The Greenway District collaborates within IASC (Itasca Area Schools Collaboration), which means subs can work more! Individuals who sub at Greenway are also able to sub in any of the other seven participating school districts by completing one application and one new hire packet.
New Teacher Support Program - Mentoring
Providing our newest teachers with an effective transition to our district is a high priority for Greenway. Getting new employees off to a great start, not only for your first day or month, but for the entire first year is crucial to not only your success as a teacher, but to your students and our district.
Each first-year teacher will be assigned a district mentor.
Together, you and your mentor will learn about many of the aspects of being an excellent educator. You will set professional goals, use data and reflect on your practice and progress throughout the year. It is the goal of the mentor to help you develop your own unique teaching style, support you in using research-based strategies and teaming with you to tackle the challenges of the classroom.
